Arike Ogunbowale
Arike ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th overall selection during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. She was the youngest child in her family and her parents spoilt her to the max. Her father Gregory was posted in the Nigerian Army for quite some duration. Ogunbowale grew up within a family that was busy. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul and her brother Dare plays football. Aunty played tennis at UAPB. Her cousin Endia plays volleyball too at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the Honor Roll at her school for 3 consecutive years. Her high school experience brought her fame and fame. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located within her own hometown. While studying at the school, she also played three years of varsity football. Ogunbowale led her team to multiple wins thanks to her exceptional skills. Through her time at high school she's had an impressive 73 career starts and 1,477 points. She also lists 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was a participant in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 FIBA World U17 Championships 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships in which she was awarded gold medals.
